CHOCOLATE MOUSSE CAKE 
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
6 eggs
2 tbsp. sugar
1 pkg. chocolate wafers
1 1/2 pt. heavy cream
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar

Melt chocolate (in microwave if desired). Separate eggs and beat egg yolks into chocolate until stiff and thick. Beat egg whites. Add cream of tartar and beat until stiff. Add 1 cup of egg white mixture into chocolate mixture. Whip heavy cream until peaks form. Add sugar and beat. Fold 3/4 of whipped cream mixture into chocolate mixture. Put 1/4 of whipped cream mixture aside and fold all other mixtures together.

Line 10 inch spring pan with chocolate wafers, bottom and sides. Pour mixture into pan. Decorate with reserved whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
