"BEST EVER" SHORT RIBS 
6 lean short ribs
1/2 c. soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 c. white wine
1 med. onion, chopped
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/3 c. celery, chopped
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. pepper

Brown short ribs, then add garlic. Add remaining ingredients and cover tightly. A few small carrots and potatoes may be added if desired. Bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours, or until meat is tender. Serves 6. This recipe may be doubled.
