COCKTAIL MEATBALLS AND SAUCE | |
2 lbs. ground beef 1/2 c. chopped onions 1 egg, beaten 1/2 c. bread crumbs 1/2 tsp. allspice 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. sugar Mix all ingredients together. Form into 1 - 1 1/2 inch balls. Bake on cookie sheet in 325 degree oven for about 20 minutes or until center is done. Drain off grease. Balls can be frozen at this point for future use. To use; reheat in 325 degree oven for about 15 minutes. SAUCE: 1 jar chili sauce 1 sm. jar grape jelly Combine in saucepan and heat. Pour over hot meat balls or heat together in saucepan. Pour into chaffing dish or fondue pot to help keep warm. |
