BRANDY OR RUM BALLS 
3 cups vanilla wafers, finely crushed (about 75 cookies)
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup nuts, finely chopped
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup light rum or brandy
1/4 cup light corn syrup (Karo)
Granulated sugar

Mix wafers, powdered sugar, nuts and cocoa. Stir in liquor and corn syrup. Shape into balls, roll in granulated sugar. Refrigerate in tightly closed container.

Makes about 5 dozen balls.
