1-2 pkg. whole pepperoni 1 link Polish or smoked sausage 1 box regatoni noodles 1 lg. can tomatoes 1 lg. can tomato paste 2 sm. cans tomato sauce 1 lb. hamburger 1/2 green pepper 1 tbsp. parsley flakes 1 tbsp. Italian seasoning 1 tbsp. sweet basil Parmesan cheese Garlic salt Salt and pepper 2 eggs 1 onion In large Dutch oven, brown chopped onions and green peppers in oil. Add sliced pepperoni, sausage, all sauce. (Add 1/2 can of water from each can.) Add spices and salt and pepper. Simmer 3 hours; add Parmesan cheese, sprinkling over top of pot. After cooking 3 hours, mix meatballs (hamburger, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, 2 beaten eggs, garlic salt to taste.) Roll into small balls and brown in skillet. Place in pot and cook 2 more hours. Regatoni noodles: boil large pot of salt water. Add regatoni; boil 3 minutes or until cutable. Drain. Pour sauce on noodles and it is ready to serve. |
