LITTLE APPLESAUCE MUFFINS 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. applesauce
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. sugar mixed with 1/4 tsp. (or more to taste) cinnamon

In large bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until light and fluffy. Beat in applesauce. Stir together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to butter mixture; stir to moisten. Spoon into grease tea-size muffin cups. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes until golden.

While warm, dip tops into melted butter, then cinnamon-sugar. Makes about 36.
