FRUIT COBBLER 
3 c. peaches, plums, apricots or apples

Mix in saucepan:

2/3 to 1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. boiling water

(If using canned fruit, use fruit juice to equal water.)

Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute stirring often. Pour into 10 x 6 x 2 inch baking dish.

Dot with:

1/2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Then mix Bisquick topping:

1 1/2 c. Bisquick
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. butter

Drop biscuit topping onto fruit mixture and add butter in small dots; helps to brown.

Bake at 450 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.

Great with ice cream. Serves 6 to 8.
