4 c. corn flakes
1 c. chunky peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. white Karo syrup

Mix first 3 ingredients and set aside. In a heavy saucepan add sugar and syrup, bring to a boiling point, not a steady boil. Pour hot mixture over corn flakes and peanut butter. Mix well and drop by spoonful on greased platter. Chill.
