HAMBURGER CHOW MEIN 
1 lb. hamburger (may use a little more)
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. rice
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. chopped onions
1 c. green pepper
1 (No. 2) can tomatoes

Brown hamburger meat. Spread celery, onions and peppers in layers over the hamburger. Pour the tomatoes over this. Cook the rice in 1 cup water for about 10 minutes and spread over the mixture. Cook in slow cooker very slowly for at least 1 hour.
