1 stick butter
2 sticks butter
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
3 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour (all-purpose)
6 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract

Cream butter, butter, and cream cheese. Add sugar; blend well. Alternate adding flour and eggs (1 cup flour; then 2 eggs; repeat and blend well in between). Add vanilla; mix well.

Grease and SUGAR tube pan. Put in a 325 degree cold oven for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours. (No need to preheat oven.)
