NEW YORK CHEESE CAKE 
1 1/2 lb. cream cheese
1 1/4 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Sliced pound cake

Line bottom of greased glass baking dish (square) with pound cake. Blend all ingredients together and pour over sliced pound cake. Do not over mix. Bake in 300 degree oven for 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. Turn oven off and let cake set for 10 minutes with door closed. Then open oven door and let cake sit for 1/2 hour. Take cake out of oven and turn heat back up to 300 degrees.

TOPPING:

1 1/2 pt. sour cream
4 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Blend together and pour over top of cake, again bake for 1/2 hour to 45 minutes, repeat same procedure as above. Let chill thoroughly (overnight). Top with favorite topping.
