PUFFED WHEAT CAKE 
1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. corn syrup
1 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
8 c. puffed wheat

Melt butter in saucepan. Add syrup, sugar, cocoa and vanilla. When this syrup begins to bubble, remove from heat and pour over puffed wheat. Mix. Put in buttered pan 9 x 12 inch and press down well with spoon. Cut in squares.
