CHOCOLATE SOUR CREAM CAKE | |
3 c. flour 3 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 c. butter 1 c. sugar 3 eggs 1 c. sour cream Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, set aside. In bowl combine butter and sugar, beat until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream. TOPPING: 2 (6 oz.) pkg. semi sweet chocolate pieces 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon Combine semi sweet chocolate pieces, brown sugar and cinnamon, mix. Spoon half of cake batter into greased pan, 13 x 9 x 1 inch. Sprinkle with 3/4 topping mixture. Cover rest of batter, then sprinkle with remaining topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. |
