CRANBERRY APPLE CASSEROLE 
3 c. tart, firm apples, cubed
2 c. cranberries
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch

TOPPING:

1 stick butter, melted
1 c. uncooked oatmeal
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 - 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Combine fruit, sugar and cornstarch and put in a greased 9"x13" dish. Mix topping ingredients until crumbly. Spread over the fruit. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. This is a wonderful brunch dish with ham or sausage and eggs. Also good with ham or turkey at Thanksgiving or Christmas.
