PUMPKIN PIE CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix, reserve 1 c. cake mix for topping
1 egg
1/2 stick butter, melted
1/2 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. canned pumpkin
2 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. canned milk
3 eggs

TOPPING:

1 c. cake mix
1/4 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar

Reserve 1 cup cake mix for topping to remainder; add 1 egg and butter. Press mixture in 13 x 9 inch pan. In another bowl, add pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon, canned milk and 3 eggs, mixing well. Pour gently over pressed cake mix. To reserved 1 cup of cake mix, add 1/4 stick butter and 3/4 cup sugar for topping. (Add nutmeats if desired). Sprinkle topping over pumpkin mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes.
