PILGRIM PUMPKIN PIE CAKE 
4 eggs, slightly beaten
3 c. pumpkin
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 c. evaporated milk
1 stick (1/2 c.) butter, melted
1 box yellow cake mix
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix first 9 ingredients in order given and pour in ungreased 9"x13" pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over top of pumpkin mixture. Drizzle 1 stick (1/2 cup) melted butter over cake mix. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees (325 degrees for glass pan) for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until knife comes out clean. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream or plain.
