FRUITED GINGER ALE SALAD | |
1 tbsp. unflavored gelatin 1/4 c. cold water 1/2 c. sliced seeded Tokay grapes 1/2 c. diced canned pineapple 1/2 c. sliced bananas 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 c. boiling water 1 tbsp. sugar 2 c. ginger ale 1/4 c. chopped pecans Soften gelatin in cold water; add boiling water and stir until gelatin dissolves. Add sugar, salt, ginger ale and lemon juice. Chill until syrupy, then fold in fruit and nuts. Turn into slightly oiled mold. |
