GRILLED NEW POTATO KABOBS 
4 lb. small new potatoes
Salt
1/3 c. olive oil
2 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper

Makes 12 servings. Place potatoes in salted water to cover in large sauce pot. Heat to boiling; boil until potatoes are tender, about 10 to 12 minutes. Drain. Transfer potatoes to large bowl and toss with oil, garlic and pepper. Can be made ahead; cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours. Preheat grill or broiler and broiler pan. Thread potatoes evenly on 6 metal skewers. Grill or boil 9 minutes, turning every 3 minutes and brushing with oil mixture until evenly browned.
