GRILLED NEW POTATO KABOBS 
4 lbs. sm. new potatoes
Salt
1/3 c. olive oil
2 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper

Place potatoes in salted water to cover in large saucepot. Heat to boiling; boil until potatoes are tender, about 10-12 minutes. Drain. Transfer potatoes to large bowl and toss with oil, garlic, and pepper. Can be made ahead. Cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours. Preheat grill or broiler and broiler pan.

Thread potatoes evenly on 6 metal skewers. Grill or broil 9 minutes, turning every 3 minutes and brushing with oil mixture until evenly browned. 12 servings.
