APPLE CRUMB PIE 
5 to 7 tart apples
1 (9 inch) pie shell
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

TOPPING:

1/3 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
6 tbsp. butter, cold & firm

Peel and core apples. Cut in thin slices and arrange in pie shell. Mix sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.

TOPPING: Mix sugar and flour. Cut in butter with knife until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. This pie freezes well. Just make pie according to directions, wrap in plastic and freezer before baking. Thaw before baking.
