FAMILY FAVORITE BARBEQUED
CHICKEN
 
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. oil
1 c. catsup
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
2 chickens, cut up

Combine all ingredients except the chicken, salt and pepper. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place salted and peppered pieces of chicken in a shallow baking pan, 9 x 13 inch or larger. Cover with half the sauce. Bake for 1 hour; turn the pieces, add the rest of the sauce and bake 1 hour. Reduce heat and hold 30-40 minutes in oven. You can use skinless chicken. Serves 6-8.
