ASPARAGUS CASSEROLE 
2 (15 oz.) cans all green asparagus tips
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
1 (12 oz.) package frozen French fried onions
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Drain asparagus, reserving liquid. Layer asparagus in 2-quart casserole dish. Place French fried onions over asparagus. Mix soup, sour cream and half liquid from asparagus and pour over asparagus mixture. Sprinkle shredded cheese over this and heat in 350°F oven until mixture is just bubbly and cheese melts. Serve at once.
