CHOCOLATE FUDGE DEVINE 
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 c. evaporated milk
3 sq. unsweetened chocolate or 5 tbsp. cocoa
4 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Mix sugar, corn syrup, milk and chocolate. Stir over very low heat until sugar is completely dissolved. Wipe crystals down from sides of pan. When thoroughly dissolved, increase heat slightly and cook stirring frequently to keep candy from sticking to pan, until it will form a soft ball in cold water. Take it off the stove, add butter and let is stand until candy is lukewarm all the way through. Add vanilla and beat until it will stand alone. Mix in nuts and pour into buttered pan.
