GREEN CHILI 
1 lb. diced pork or 1 lb. hamburger
1 sm. onion
2 (7 oz.) cans diced green chilies
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
3 whole jalapenos (more or less to taste)
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. cumin
Salt to taste
1/2 c. flour

In a large saucepan brown meat and drain off all fat.

In a blender or food processor combine onion, green chilies, tomatoes and jalapenos. Add to browned meat. Add spices. Bring to a boil, stirring often.

Dissolve 1/2 cup flour in 1 cup lukewarm water. (Put in leak-proof container and shake to get out lumps.) Add to saucepan mixture and return to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes.
