1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. conf. sugar
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. flour
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Melt butter in an 8" x 8" x 2" pan; mix in 1 cup flour and confectioners sugar and pat evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 minutes until slightly browned. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over the baked crust and return to oven for 25 minutes. Cut into squares and sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Makes 16 2" squares.
