SOUR CREAM NUT BREAD 
1/2 c. heavy cream
1 tsp. vinegar or lemon juice
1/4 c. water
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Combine cream and lemon juice. Let set a few minutes. Stir in water and egg. Sift dry ingredients, except nuts. Stir into cream-egg mixture. Stir in nuts. Bake in greased and floured pans at 350 degrees in 9 x 5 inch pan for 1 hour or in 2 x 4 inch pans for 30 to 35 minutes.
