TANYA'S COOKIE KISSES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 c. finely chopped pecans
40 chocolate candy kisses
Powdered sugar

Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Add flour and nuts. Mix well. Chill 2 hours. Dough will be stiff. When dough is thoroughly chilled, shape around each kiss completely. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 12 minutes at 375 degrees. Do not over bake or cookie will be too hard.

Roll each ball in powdered sugar while still warm. Cool thoroughly. Store in airtight container.
