DOUBLE FUDGE PIE 
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. whipping cream
1/2 c. unsweetened non-alkalized cocoa powder
3 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (9 inch) unbaked Basic Pie Shell
3 oz. (about 1/2 c.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Vanilla ice cream

In large bowl, combine sugar, eggs, corn syrup, cream, cocoa, butter, vanilla, and salt. Pour mixture into Basic Pie shell and sprinkle chocolate chips over top. Bake in center of oven at 325 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm with ice cream. Serves eight.
