DREAM APPLE PIE 
1 pkg. pie crust mix or your own pastry for 8 inch pie
16 salted crackers
1 1/4 c. white sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. water
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. melted butter

Heat oven to 425 degrees roll half of pastry for bottom crust of pie (line 8 inch pie pan). Carefully arrange crackers in crust (do not crush). Combine sugar, spices, cream of tartar, water and lemon juice. Pour over crackers in crust. Roll out top crust. Make holes for steam. Brush top crust with melted butter. Bake at 425 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
