APPLESAUCE SNACK CAKES 
1 c. butter, softened
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (16 oz.) can applesauce
4 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground allspice
1/2 tsp. ground cloves

Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Stir soda and vanilla into applesauce. Combine flour and spices; add to creamed mixture alternately with applesauce mixture, mixing after each addition.
