OVERNIGHT LAYERED FRUIT SALAD 
2 c. Iceberg lettuce, shredded
2 Golden Delicious apples
2 Navel oranges
2 c. seedless green grapes
1/3 c. mayonnaise
1/3 c. sour cream
1 c. mild Cheddar cheese, shredded

Spread lettuce on bottom of 2-quart serving dish. Core and quarter apples; slice thinly and layer over lettuce. Peel and section oranges; squeeze a teaspoon or so of orange juice onto the apples; arrange sectioned oranges on top of apple slices. Layer grapes. Combine mayonnaise and sour cream in small bowl. Spread over grapes. Sprinkle shredded cheese over all. Cover dish tightly with plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight. Serves 6.
