OVERNIGHT LAYERED SALAD 
1 head lettuce, shredded (1 lb.)
1 c. celery, thinly sliced
1 pkg. frozen baby peas
1/2 med. onion, sliced
1 can water chestnuts

Layer above ingredients in a deep casserole dish. Spread 2 cups mayonnaise over above ingredients. Be sure to seal the edges with the mayonnaise. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sugar, a little salt and garlic salt. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese. Chill overnight.

Before serving, sprinkle with 3 hard boiled eggs crumbled and real bacon bits.
