APPLE CINNAMON SYRUP (FOR
PANCAKES)
 
2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. apple juice or cider
1/2 stick butter
1/4 tsp. cinnamon and 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Mix all ingredients for syrup except butter. Cook until it boils and thickens slightly. Then set off burner and add butter. Serve over hot pancakes.

Pancakes: To your pancake mix, add 1 medium apple (grated) and a dash of cinnamon.
