SHEPHERDS HASH 
7-8 med. potatoes
1 can carrots
1 can green beans
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion
1 can whole kernel corn
1 stick butter
Milk

Peel and boil potatoes, until tender. Mash with milk and 1/2 stick butter. (Like making mashed potatoes.) Brown ground beef and onion; drain. Cook carrots, corn and green beans with 1/2 stick butter.

Combine ground beef and onion mixture, with vegetable mixture. Spoon into a 9 x 13 inch glass pan. Top with a layer of mashed potatoes. Bake for approximately 45 minutes to 325 degrees or until potatoes are golden on top. Serves 4-5.
