EDITH'S FRENCH TOAST | |
2 eggs 2 tbsp. granulated sugar dash each nutmeg and cinnamon few drops vanilla 4 heaping tbsp. all-purpose flour 1/2 cup milk 4 slices bread Use fork to mix eggs. Add sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla and mix well. Alternate milk and flour and stir til smooth. Dip each slice in mixture, turning once to coat both sides. Fry coated bread in butter in skillet until golden brown, turn and fry other side til golden brown. Serve with your favorite topping... syrup or butter, etc. Submitted by: Edith Moyer |
