FIREMAN'S DESSERT 
FIRST LAYER:

1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
3/4 c. butter, melted

Mix and spread in 9x13-inch pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

SECOND LAYER:

1 (18 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. powdered sugar
6 oz. Cool Whip

Whip cream cheese and sugar. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread on top of first layer.

THIRD LAYER:

Mix 1 large box instant vanilla pudding with 3 cups cold milk; let thicken. Spread over cream cheese filling. Top with rest of Cool Whip (6 ounces) and then on top of Cool Whip, spread 1 can of cherry pie filling. Chill.
