BUTTERMILK PIE 
1/3 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
dash of ground nutmeg
1 c. buttermilk
1 (9-inch) pastry shell (unbaked)

Cream butter. Gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed of an electric mixer. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour and nutmeg, beating at low speed until blended. Add buttermilk, beating well. Pour into pastry shell.

Bake at 325°F for 55 minutes or until pie is set. Cool on a wire rack.
