COFFEE CAN ICE CREAM 
1 c. milk
1 c. whipping cream
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
Chocolate chips, nuts or fruit

Put all ingredients in a 1 lb. coffee can with tight fitting lid. Place small 1 lb. coffee can inside of a #10 coffee can. Pour in rock salt and crushed ice.

Roll back and forth on ground with foot for 10 minutes. Open outer lid to remove inner can. Stir down ice cream.

Keep ice and salt in big can and continue to roll back and forth until frozen. Makes 3 cups.

It's lots of fun when you are camping. Great for kids to do.
