PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY FRENCH
TOAST
 
3/4 c. peanut butter
6 tbsp. jelly
12 slices thinly sliced firm bread
3 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter

Spread peanut butter and jelly on 6 slices of bread and top with remaining slices to form sandwiches. Mix together eggs, milk, and salt. Melt enough butter in skillet over medium heat to cover bottom. Dip sandwiches into egg mixture, coating well. Fry, turning to brown, on both sides. Makes 6 servings.
