1 German chocolate cake mix
1 can sweetened condensed milk
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 lb. caramels
1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. nuts

Prepare cake mix as directed. Pour half in cake pan and bake until done (30-40 minutes). Mix caramels, milk and butter until melted. Pour over hot cake. Sprinkle half chips and nuts on caramel mixture. Pour other half of cake mix over this. Sprinkle balance of nuts and chips over batter and bake until done (30 to 40 minutes).
