SLOPPY JOES 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 sm. green pepper, chopped
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup, undiluted
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar (optional)
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. prepared mustard
Pinch of garlic powder
6 hamburger buns, split and toasted

Cook ground beef, onion, and green pepper in a large skillet until beef is browned, stirring to crumble; drain. Stir in tomato soup and next 5 ingredients; simmer 10 to 15 minutes, stirring mixture often. Serve on toasted buns. Yield: 6 servings.
