BAKED BEANS AND PINEAPPLE | |
1 tbsp. cooking oil 1 c. chopped onions 1 (19 oz.) can deep browned beans in tomato sauce 1 (14 oz.) can red kidney beans 1 c. crushed pineapple 1/3 c. ketchup 1 tsp. prepared mustard 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 tbsp. instant bacon bits 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper Heat oil in pan. Add onions and saute slowly until limp. Put in 1 1/2 quart casserole. Add remaining ingredients in order given. Stir to mix. Bake uncovered in 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours until bubbly. Stir once or twice during baking. Serves 6-8. |
