GREEN PEPPER STEAK 
1 1/2 lb. round steak
1 tbsp. paprika
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. red table wine
2 tbsp. soy sauce
Mushrooms (optional)
2 c. green pepper strips
1 c. beef broth
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
1 c. chopped green onions
2 lg. tomatoes (diced)
Cooked rice

Sprinkle steak (cut in 1/8 inch thick strips) with paprika. Brown meat rapidly in butter. Reduce heat, add wine, soup, soy sauce and seasonings. Cover and simmer 90 minutes.

Blend cornstarch and water. Stir into meat. Arrange onions, green pepper, tomatoes and mushrooms over steak. Replace cover, simmer 15 to 20 minutes longer. Serve over rice.
