WESTERN CHEF'S SALAD 
1 chopped onion
2 tomatoes
1 head lettuce
1 c. shredded cheddar or American cheese
1 c. French or Thousand Island dressing
Hot sauce to taste
1 lg. avocado
1 (6 oz.) bag tortilla chips
1 lb. ground beef, drained
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained

Chop onion, 2 tomatoes, and head of lettuce. Toss with 1 cup shredded cheese and 1 cup of dressing, hot sauce to taste. Peel and slice avocado and add to above mixture. Crumble and add 1 (6 ounce) bag of tortilla chips. Brown 1 pound of burger and drain. Add 1 can drained kidney beans; heat. Mix into salad mixture. Decorate with extra chips, avocado, tomato and olives if desired.
