GRILLED SHRIMP ALA | |
2 pkg. McCormick meat marinade 2/3 c. dark brown sugar 4 tbsp. red wine vinegar w/garlic 1/2 c. vegetable oil 1/3 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade 2/3 c. dry sherry 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tsp. ground ginger Dash of sesame seeds 3 lb. lg. shrimp, peeled & devined Mix all ingredients until well blended. Thread shrimp onto skewers. Place in a large shallow pan and pour the marinade over shrimp. Refrigerate approximately 1 hour. Drain. Grill shrimp over hot coals, 3 minutes on each side (time depends on shrimp size); brush with marinade while grilling. Remove from skewers and heap shrimp onto a large warm platter. Note: This can be served as an entree; nice with red rice. |
