EASY CANDIED YAMS 
2 lbs. canned yams
1/2 c. brown sugar (recommend the granulated type)
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. light cream or milk
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine all except the yams. Simmer until bubbly. Add yams. Stir until glazed and heated. Recipe can be double for a large group.
