HOMEMADE CHILI 
1 Spanish onion, diced
1/2 green pepper, diced
1 chopped celery stalk
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 can chopped tomatoes
1 sm. can tomato paste
Chili powder to taste
1 can dark red kidney beans
Crushed red pepper to taste
Salt & pepper to taste

Brown ground beef and onions; add to large pot; add crushed tomatoes; add tomato paste and 2 cans of water; add green pepper, celery, kidney beans, crushed red pepper, chili powder and salt and pepper; simmer 3 to 5 hours.
