SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion
1/3 green pepper
2 tbsp. bacon drippings
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes or 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/3 c. ketchup
1/3 c. chili sauce (Heinz)
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 drops Tabasco
2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 bay leaf
Spaghetti or vermicelli

Brown onion and pepper in bacon drippings; add meat and brown and drain. Add all remaining ingredients, simmer 1/2 hour. Serve or vermicelli. This recipe serves about 4. Sometimes it needs to be doubled to have enough. It's delicious.

NOTE: 1/4 teaspoon oregano and salt and pepper can be added if desired.
