ERGO'S FROSTING 
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. butter or Crisco
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

In a small saucepan, make a paste by adding a small amount of milk to the flour, gradually adding remaining milk. Cook to a smooth paste and set aside to chill thoroughly. Beat butter and butter together for 4 minutes. Add sugar and vanilla to butter mixture. Beat additional 4 minutes. Then add cold paste and beat final 4 minutes. Be sure paste is cold.
