TWO-LAYER FROSTING 
2 1/2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt

Blend flour into milk. Cook until a thick paste, stirring constantly. Cool to lukewarm. Set aside. Cream butter, sugar and salt. Add paste. Beat with electric mixer until fluffy. Fold in vanilla. Spread on cake.

FROSTING:

2 tbsp. cocoa
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil first 5 ingredients 1 minute (mixture will be runny). Add vanilla. Beat until thick. Drizzle over first topping.
